CHAIRISH REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES

 

SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • All items must be transported in a box truck, sprinter van, or enclosed trailer from pickup to delivery.
    • No passenger vehicles, pickup trucks, or flatbed trailers may be used for transport unless specifically requested or approved by Chairish.

     

  • Blanket wrap service, shrink wrap service, and/or packing and crating (including all proper materials) is required. The TSP is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate method is used to ensure that each item ships safely.
  •  

  • Most shipments require two people to safely pick up and deliver items unless you have confirmed with the seller or buyer that having two people is unnecessary. Under no circumstances is it acceptable to request or accept assistance from anyone at pickup or delivery.
  •  

  • In-home pickup and room-of-choice placement at delivery are expected for all shipments.

 

SCHEDULING

 

  • Most items are NOT available for immediate pickup and require 24-48 hours advance notice. Failure to adhere to this may result in cancellations and/or negative feedback.
  •  

  • Upon accepting an order, please contact the pickup and delivery locations within 24–48 hours, to coordinate the pickup and delivery date and time.
    • Please view the uShip listing for pickup and delivery contact information or contact uShip for assistance.

     

  • When contacting the seller to schedule a pickup:
    • Confirm that you are calling to schedule a pickup for Chairish and provide the order number and product description. See the recommended script.
    • Customers may be contacted between 7:30 am-8:30 pm based on their time zone.
      Note: Many businesses have restricted hours and will only accept pickup hours during their specific business hours.

     

  • Please be aware that neither Chairish nor uShip has visibility into your communication with pickup and delivery contacts. The best way to keep all parties updated is to ensure you are communicating with both sellers and buyers, as well as keeping your timeframes updated on every listing.
  •  

  • Business Tip: Be sure to view the Chairish profile for additional items coming from the same area.

 

PICK-UP (RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS)

 

  • The TSP must contact the pickup location three times:
    • First Contact: 24-48 hours after booking to discuss a pickup date and time
    • Second Contact: 24-48 hours before pick up to re-confirm the pickup date and time
    • Final Contact: At least 30 minutes before arrival

     

  • If you are not responsive to outreach regarding pickups, that shipment could be subject to cancellation if no response is received and timeframes are not updated.
  •  

  • A uShip eBOL must be shown to the seller to help identify the item being picked up.
    • The TSP and seller should add notes documenting any wear or damage present at the time of pickup.
  •  

  • Retain a copy of the eBOL noting any damage or wear to the item(s) picked up, including detailed photos.

 

DELIVERY (RESIDENCE OR BUSINESS)

 

  • You must be available to transport and deliver items immediately.
  •  

  • To schedule delivery, you must contact the buyer twice:
    • First Contact: 24-48 hours after booking to discuss a delivery date and time
    • Second Contact: 24-48 hours before delivery to re-confirm the delivery date and time
    • Final Contact: At least 30 minutes before arrival

     

  • Contact the buyer to coordinate delivery between 7:30 am – 8:30 pm based on their time zone.
  •  

  • When contacting the buyer please confirm that you are calling to schedule a delivery for Chairish and provide the order number and product description. See the recommended script.
  •  

  • If you are not responsive to outreach regarding deliveries, your access to exclusive shipments could be at risk for removal and could lead to an account hold.
  •  

  • A valid COI must be available if required by the delivery location.
  •  

  • A uShip eBOL must be shown to the buyer to help identify the item being delivered.
    • If there are concerns about the condition of the item(s), please photograph the item(s) and note any damage or wear.
  •  

  • Ask the buyer to sign off on the delivery and provide them with a copy of the eBOL.
