Logan, as Ted, Salena, as Minnie Mouse, and JJ, as Care Bear, of Our Home Calhoun

“When we look at what we do it’s more like an amazing adventure because we get to be there when a young boy meets his new best friend, a girlfriend gets a new puppy because she lost her childhood one and even the ones that finally found the child of their dreams! If we can help someone while traveling we will try to find a way but our main focus is [providing a serene] place for animals in transit any way we can while putting a smile on someone’s face because we dress up for deliveries. We are constantly trying to update the RV to add new areas and space in the main bedroom for cats or small animals to run around and feel free. We are always looking for sponsors and each time people book through uShip they are helping My Buddy to help support Our Home Calhoun stay nonprofit for our military, rescue pets and those in need. Need help? Just ask. We will do our best. We really look forward to many more years with uShip and it changed our lives forever. Thank you, everyone and uShip. We couldn’t believe you chose us for transporter of the month. We are so humbled and thankful. We will continue to do our best to bring the best services we can and keep shooting for maybe a transporter of the year!” – Salena Calhoun, Our Home Calhoun

Craig and Sarah Griffith, Sun to Snow Transport

“When I took the leap to book my first trip with uShip in the winter of 2014, it was simply a way to supplement the small monthly unemployment check I would be receiving for the next few months. I never imagined that it would lead to a fulfilling and very profitable career, but that is exactly what has happened.

As a seasonal employee working two full-time jobs during the summer months, I struggled every winter to make ends meet. After watching several episodes of “Shipping Wars” during the winter of 2013/2014, curiosity got the best of me and I began perusing uShip. I took a leap and booked by first shipment on a Sunday afternoon. That was both exciting and scary, as I was now committed to running my first official trip…with only a puppy at that point! For the next two days I scrambled to build a respectable trip. In the end, that first trip yielded a profit that more than doubled my current monthly income, and from that point on I was hooked.

Working as a transporter through uShip has been the best decision I have made. It has given me the opportunity to travel to many new and beautiful parts of the country, meet amazing new people from all walks of life, and set a schedule that works best for both me and my family. At this point in my life, there is no other profession I would choose…and uShip and their team has made it all possible. I’m thankful every day that I took that scary leap just a few short years ago!” – Craig Griffith, Sun to Snow Transport

Stefano and Genna Tanfulla with son, Luca, and daughter, Gianna, SGT Auto Transport

“I am the owner of SGT Auto Transport. To me, trucking means freedom. This goes beyond being the actual “trucker” that is logging all the miles. Trucking is being able to empower others, to employ, to give the freedom to individuals who are looking for something different. Ever heard of the phrase “keep on trucking”? This is encouragement, praise… It can be interpreted thousands of different ways. My daughter (pictured) was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Hystiocytosis (LCH), a rare form of cancer, in March 2017 and the phrase “Keep on Trucking” really means a lot to me. We also get to see some really cool cars along the way!” – Stefano Tanfulla, SGT Auto Transport
