HIGH END USED FURNITURE GUIDELINES FOR CARRIERS

FAILURE TO FOLLOW GUIDELINES MAY IMPACT ABILITY TO BID ON FUTURE HIGH END USED FURNITURE SHIPMENTS

 

  • A BOL is required for all High End Used Furniture shipments.
  • Weights listed on uShip are approximate.
  • Warehouse/business pickup. Loading dock available if preferred.
  • Curbside / Driveway delivery in most cases. In Home Delivery on certain clearly marked orders. Shipment title will specify In Home Delivery where applicable. See Special Instructions for additional details.
  • Provide a minimum of 24-48 hours notice prior to arrival at pickup and delivery locations.
  • Most items require 2 people to properly handle. Please plan accordingly and bring help if needed. It is never acceptable to request assistance from the customer.
  • Blanket wrap service and/or packing/crating (including all proper materials) is required for all items. You must have stretch wrap, furniture pads, and other needed supplies to protect furniture pieces during transit.
  • All items must be transported in a dry, enclosed vehicle or trailer for transport from pickup to delivery.
  • We will send our customers a Pickup Notice containing your contact phone number and email.
  • You must contact the pickup and delivery locations within 24 hours of booking to confirm your arrival window (customers may be available sooner upon contact).
  • Customers may be contacted between 7:30 am – 8:30 pm based on the customer’s time zone.
  • Delivery must be made by or before the Latest date in the Delivery Date Range specified in the uShip listing. We commit to delivery within 30 to 45 days from date of purchase.
  • Our customers will need to be contacted at least 48 hours in advance of delivery with an estimated time of arrival.
  • Our customers must be contacted if there is a delay in delivery for any reason.
